Aisling Bea

Aisling is a well-known Irish comedian that has been in the business for a long time. Born in Kildare, Ireland on 16th March 1984. She has appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), also known as Aisling bea, is an Irish comedian, writer and actress. Bea's acting career started in the year 2011, as a stand-up comedian, after appearing in small parts for Irish and British TV shows that began in the year 2009. She began appearing frequently on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms later in the year. After she was awarded an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) in 2012, she began appearing frequently in panel programs. In 2016 and 2017, she was a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats team and also a part-time participant of the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan, and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is the younger of her siblings. The only ever female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny. The surname she uses is Bea in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh, O'Sullivan is an Kildare born girl. Her birth date was in March 16, 1984. The father of her Brian was an equine veterinarian who committed suicide when Bea was three years old. She was not told the cause of his death until she reached the age of 13. In 2017, Bea published an article in The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family. She also she adopted the stage name Bea to pay tribute. Bea and her younger sister Sinead were raised by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher, jockey trainer, and former professional jockey. Their family was enthralled by races as well as horses. Bea was a guide for her family's involvement at the Irish National Stud in her early years. However, she knew that it wasn't what she wanted to do for a living and that she was more interested in doing.
