Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks is an American actress who is best known for her role as Joan Holloway in the seven seasons of AMC's period drama series Mad Men (2007-2015). Along with receiving critical appreciation, her performance on the show garnered six Emmy Award nominations under the best supporting actress category. She has been known in her two-decade career for her performances in the legal drama Kevin Hill, comedy series Another Period and crime drama Tin Star. Films comprise Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers - Prey at Night Egg and American Woman. She has also provided voiceovers in animation films, such as From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 and Scoob!. Prior to becoming acting, she enjoyed a career as a professional model. She played her first real role on the show in Beggars and Choosers. Her part in Firefly, a cult classic film that was also highly acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, was followed. Esquire magazine named her the Sexiest Woman on Earth and the Best-Looking American Woman of the year 2010.
